The Don Vasco Route Magic Towns

The Magic Towns of Michoacán are places where you can find traditions, costumes and still an indigenous architecture. In this tour we will visit Santa Clara del Cobre where we can share with the craftsman the hard work of hammered copper to become true works of art, we will also visit the copper museum. Following the tour we will move to Tzintzuntzan where we will visit the former Franciscan convent of the XVII century where there is also an open chapel for the ancient evangelization of the natives, a submersible baptismal font and innumerable fresco paintings. We continue our journey to Patzcuaro where we will walk through the Don Vasco square, we will meet some master craftsmen in the House of “Once Patios”, and we will take the typical photo in El Sagrario until we reach the Basilica to learn more about the work of Don Vasco de Quiroga.
